This one requires travel away from home for 3-4 Weeks at a time. Also, 80% of the work is done overnight. All travel, lodging, and food will be provided via the company or daily per diem. Just want to be transparent!

We are performing upgrades to cold storage display cases at multiple big box retailers and grocery stores throughout the United States. We focus on the metal facing encasing the refrigeration units... No electrical or refrigeration experience necessary. Our dedicated team and partner organizations are meticulously working through the night; replacing door fixtures to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and avoid any interruptions of service at the retailer’s locations.
Job Description:
As a project technician, you are required to perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
• Upgrade cold storage display cases & Refrigerated walk-ins.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects.
• Maintain key strategic relationships with customers at various levels within a customer’s organization.
• Work with a team of 5 Installation Techs
• Promote the Company’s core values and culture to other employees, customers, and potential customers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses appropriately by adhering to company expectations.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. with no assistance and be able to sit and/or stand for several hours at a time.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Up to 50-100% travel is required for this position.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• High School Graduate (no college required)
• Light construction experience
• Works with hand tools and power tools
• Sheetmetal experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 3-4 weeks at a time.
Supervision and Leadership:
• You will have frequent communication with your direct supervisor for instruction and guidance. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall quality by, Director of Operations and Senior Project Manager.
• You will be tasked with working with a well-rounded corporate team. Your standard workdays will vary Monday-Sunday 80% of the work is done overnight.
• You will be expected to work an average of 45 hrs/week. At times but rare, additional weekend work may be necessary to help support critical or short notice operational requirements (Primarily for travel).
